Fan Expo was fun

Met this really cool artist and got introduced to this new game and book he created, Ninja Cowboy Bear.

And that's me being the bear lol.
And there was a really awesome display of Disney's movie Tron Legacy. Some concepts can be found here
Here's a pic of awesome machete that was spinning around.
After that I took my first try driving which I've found not fun at all. )=
Then after that I Photoshoped 3 faces from the earlier post.

This took me maybe 20ish minutes, which means yay, spending the summer practicing Photoshop really did pay off!

Last Summer Sketches

Actually done beginning of August these are side characters from Hebi's story, and a comparison of heights and body shapes.

For the dance poses I used the Asuka's and Vitollio's waltz dance as reference, and yeah I know the legs are a bit wonky.

Yay Scanner!

Finally plugged my new printer. I like it. And scanner is pretty good too. I'm not sure if I prefer this one or my old scanner...
Well, with it on now, I was finally able to scan something.
This is a concept work in progress, but I liked how the mood was captured in this step so I'm posting it.

The warm and orange feel was actually inspired by one of the scenes from Higurashi's opening.

Pink Panther

I remembered that I have this on my usb. Although I don't like the layout anymore (it should have been something cleaner) I like how I did cleanup on Toon Boom. Was it enjoyable? NO! I only survived because Adam let me use Cintiq in 4th year room! I still wonder why our teacher told us to export as mov files, they don't work properly!
Some other Toon Boom things, The bouncing ball and bowling ball and the last project, cutout jump.

Done in same style as Traffic Sign Thief, I've decided to put them in identical location as well, but this time on roundabout island. All of 12 Zodiac signs are there, you just have to find them. (=

Summer Flipbook

No, it does not exist. I just made a spoof and picked some of the best drawings this summer. Hell, this is even better than my flipbook page. And I know, it's not the end of summer yet, and I still have lots of sketches that I'd love to put in here that haven't been scanned, but it's already clustered as it is and I don't know when I'll plug in the new scanner. Therefore, here's best of the past 3 1/2 months of summer.

I'm officially doing this annual thing where I draw 8 of my characters at end of August to see my improvement and the present look of the characters. On da I've put them all together as one image, but I think that kinda ruins it since they were all done differently. So I'll post them here separately.

Aside from Ikira outlines done traditionally and coloured on Photoshop. Ikira was done completely digitally on SAI Painter.
Names in order: Kikimo, Finnell, Kara, Ikira, Maki, Dominique, Hebi and Antoan.

Traffic Sign Thief!

Shame on him! Taking all significant signs to safety. Someone will die! D=
Lol well, this was done a while back but I finally got to it today. Maybe done in 2-3 hours...
Decided to go more colourful and goofy.
